Questions operators ask before they book a shoot.

Direct answers first. If yours is not here, send it over.

How long from booking to delivery?

It depends on the offer. A half-day shoot is usually on the calendar within a couple of weeks and the first edits follow a couple of weeks after. Single-day and multi-day productions are planned around your season, and the timeline is set in the brief.

What do you need from me on shoot day?

Access to the tour or location, a schedule we can plan around, and a point of contact on the day. We direct, you run your tour. Guests are never asked to do anything beyond what they came for.

Who owns the footage, and where can I use it?

Ownership and usage are stated in each offer and written into the agreement before we shoot. Talent releases are handled for anyone who appears in the work.

Do you travel to other islands or outside Hawaiʻi?

Yes. We are based on Kauaʻi, we shoot across the Hawaiian islands, and we travel for the right story.

How does pricing work?

Every production is quoted from a brief, because a half-day on a catamaran and a multi-day story across two islands are not the same job. Tell us what you run and what you want to make, and we will send a quote.

Can you shoot during my busy hours without disrupting guests?

Yes. Half-day shoots are built for exactly that: we join a tour that is already running and capture what happens, with no heavy staging. For planned shoots we work the schedule out with you first.

Do you work with businesses that already have a social media manager?

Yes. Production works on its own, and your manager gets the films, reels and photos to run. The management retainer is for operators who want us to run the channels too.

What does "Apply for services" involve, and how do you choose retainer clients?

Social media management is a retainer, so we take on a small number of operators at a time, by design. You apply, we talk through your operation on a short call, and we tell you honestly if it is a fit.

How do you measure whether the content works?

We report against bookings and discoverability, not vanity numbers: what the content reached, what it sent to the booking path, and what came back. Nothing is guaranteed, and we never claim a result a client has not approved.

Tell us about your operation.

Share what you run and what you want guests to feel. We'll tell you how we would film it.

No pitch decks. A conversation about your operation first.
